It may be under new ownership, but it's still pretty much like I remember it as a kid: homestyle food that really tastes like homemade food. I always get the hamburger steak or chicken fry, but I hear they have amazing burgers as well. What's really great is the sides and veggies all seem fresh, and their gravy tastes like your grandma made it with real drippings and not from a box. Some of the names of their dishes have changed, but the quality hasn't. One minor complaint: They could use more wait staff. The staff is always super friendly but sometimes feels like they have 1-2 people running around doing everything and. So you might have wait a bit for a check. Don't come if you're in a hurry.

The chicken fried steak was wonderful. My husband loved the wet fries. They are covered with gravy. It was 30 for 2 meals. Oh the best part was the basket of homemade rolls and cinnamon rolls. Yum!
